Flower delivery to Bohumín from an Ostrava florist
Bohumín lies where the Odra and Olše rivers meet, near the Polish border. The town is nine kilometres north-east of Ostrava. In 2025, its population was about 20,300.
The first written record of the village of Bogun, from which today's Bohumín developed, dates to 1256. The 13th-century Gothic Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is a listed cultural monument, with the tomb of the Counts Henckel von Donnersmarck beside it. Natural attractions include the Hraniční meandry Odry nature monument, covering more than 126 hectares, and the 50-hectare Kališovo jezero, formed by gravel extraction.
NIKA is based in Ostrava. It also delivers flowers to Bohumín. The sender therefore does not need to hand the bouquet to the recipient in person.
A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at home, at school or at work. Other possible places include the Bohumín municipal hospital, care homes for older people and the town hall. The recipient may also receive it at a cultural or sports venue or at a hotel.
