Flower delivery in Doubrava
Doubrava lies between Orlová and Karviná. Its name is recorded in a charter issued by Pope Gregory IX in 1229.
The Pseudo-Romanesque Church of St Hedwig, designed by Bedřich Fulda, was consecrated on 15 October 1898. The Hus Church was built by architect Čeněk Volný in 1928 and has been a cultural monument since 2001. The Baroque château, dating from the second half of the 18th century, belongs to the municipality, which is revitalising it with EU support. The National House, opened in 1903, is the municipality’s cultural centre, with a restaurant and a hall available for hire.
