Flowers delivered to Fryčovice by an Ostrava florist

The municipality of Fryčovice lies in the western part of the Frýdek-Místek District. It stretches along both banks of the Ondřejnice River. It also has a cultural hall in the Municipal House.

The first written mention of Fryčovice dates from 1267. The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, built between 1335 and 1345, is considered by heritage experts to be the oldest stone church building in the district. The municipality's highest point is Sovinec Hill, at 354 metres above sea level, where a deer enclosure for breeding white-tailed deer can be reached on foot.
