Flower delivery in Havířov from a local florist

Havířov lies on the Lučina River, 11 km southeast of Ostrava, and had approximately 68,700 residents in 2025. It was established on 4 December 1955 when parts of Šenov, Šumbark and Dolní Bludovice were separated, and it was granted town rights immediately. It comprises eight municipal districts: Město, Podlesí, Šumbark, Bludovice, Životice, Dolní Datyně, Dolní Suchá and Prostřední Suchá.

The socialist-realist centre dating from the 1950s and 1960s was declared the Sorela conservation area in 1992. Kotulova wooden house, dating from 1781, is a timbered folk building managed by the Museum of Těšínsko. The Empire-style chateau, whose origins date to the 15th century, reopened after restoration in 1998 and now houses a hotel and restaurant.

Květinářství NIKA delivers flowers to Havířov as well. Its delivery service also covers Bohumín, Hlučín, Karviná, Orlová and Frýdek-Místek.

A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at a hospital, a care home for older people, a school or a municipal office. Other possible handover points include a workplace, a hotel, a cultural venue or a sports facility. This allows delivery to take place wherever the recipient is at the time.
