Flower delivery in Horní Suchá from Ostrava
The municipality of Horní Suchá lies in the Karvinsko region. It is situated between Havířov, Karviná and Český Těšín. The first written mention of the municipality dates to 1305.
The Roman Catholic Church of St Joseph was created in 1864 by rebuilding a brick chapel dating from 1835. Hard coal was mined at the former František Mine from 1911 to 1999, and its 85-metre reinforced-concrete headframe remains.
NIKA is based in Ostrava. From there, it brings flowers to Horní Suchá.
Recipients can receive flowers at the municipal office, including the registry office, or at the care home for older people in the village centre. Other handover points include both primary schools, one of which teaches in Polish, and the municipal sports hall next to the primary school. Flowers can also be handed over at workplaces in the František industrial zone, where dozens of companies operate.
