Flower delivery to Hukvaldy from Ostrava

The municipality of Hukvaldy lies in the foothills of the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. It comprises five parts: Hukvaldy, Horní Sklenov, Dolní Sklenov, Rychaltice and Krnalovice. The municipality was first mentioned in 1228.

The ruins of Hukvaldy Castle, recorded between 1257 and 1285, are open to the public, and the massive palace offers views over the surrounding countryside. The Baroque Church of St Maximilian in the centre of the municipality was built in 1759, and Leoš Janáček used to play its organ. The house where Leoš Janáček was born, formerly a school, now houses the tourist information centre, a memorial room dedicated to the composer and a gallery. The Janáček Memorial is in a house he bought in 1921, where the original interiors have been preserved.

NIKA is based in Ostrava and delivers flowers from there to Hukvaldy as well. Flowers can be handed to the recipient at home, at work or at another agreed place where they are staying. In Hukvaldy, possible handover locations include the school, the municipal office and local hotels.
