Flower delivery in Klimkovice from a local florist

The spa town of Klimkovice lies on the south-western edge of Ostrava, in the foothills of the Nízký Jeseník range. Its municipality also includes Hýlov, Josefovice and Václavovice.

King Wenceslas IV granted Klimkovice town status in 1383. The Renaissance castle, dating from 1578–1579, burned twice, in 1854 and May 1945, and its monumental Renaissance staircase survived. The tower of the Church of St Catherine of Alexandria leans 64 cm off its axis, and the choir is linked to the castle by an elevated passage. Wedding ceremonies take place in the castle's ceremony hall and in the restored Church of the Most Holy Trinity.
