Flower delivery to Ludgeřovice from an Ostrava florist

Ludgeřovice lies in the Hlučínsko region between Ostrava and Hlučín. The municipality has around 5,000 residents. It is one of the largest Czech municipalities without town status.

A document issued at Landek Castle on 28 January 1303 confirms the existence of the settlement of Rudgersdorf, now known as Ludgeřovice. The neo-Gothic Church of St Nicholas was built from exposed brick in 1906–1907. Its tower is 75 metres high, and the church is a cultural monument.
