Flower delivery to Ostravice from a local florist
Ostravice lies directly below Lysá hora and Smrk, on both banks of the Ostravice River. The river divides the municipality into its Moravian and Silesian parts. The railway line from Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, 5 km away, ends at the station in the village centre.
The Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1788–1789, stands in the northern part of the municipality by the main road and is a cultural monument. The parish church of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren, built in 1873–1874, stands beside an evangelical cemetery. The Petr Bezruč Cabin, the poet's summer retreat with its original interior, is managed by the Silesian Museum; an exhibition is housed in the woodshed. Hotel Zlatý orel occupies Baron Alfons Rothschild's former hunting lodge, dating from 1897, and overlooks the Smrk nature reserve.
NIKA in Ostrava delivers flowers to Ostravice. The recipient therefore does not need to collect the bouquet in Ostrava.
A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at home, at work, at the local primary school or nursery, at the municipal office, or in the municipal senior housing building. Other possible handover points are local hotels and the restaurant run by Beskydský pivovárek.
