Local flower delivery in Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí

Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí lies on the Ondřejnice River in the Ostrava-město District. The municipality comprises two parts, Stará Ves and Košatka. Košatka lies about 2.5 km west of Stará Ves and was formed in 1923 by merging the settlements of Velká Košátka and Malá Košátka.

The municipality was first mentioned in 1267. The Renaissance chateau, with sgraffito decoration and an arcaded courtyard, was built by the Syrakovští z Pěrkova between 1565 and 1578. Ctibor Syrakovský had the Church of the Nativity of St John the Baptist built between 1587 and 1589; it was consecrated in 1591.
