Flower delivery in Těškovice from a local florist

Těškovice is in the Opava District, about 22 km south-east of Opava. The village lies around 18 km west of Ostrava. It is set between the valleys of the Jamník and Setina streams.

The first written mention of Těškovice dates from 1377. In that year, Ondřej of Těškovice bought the bailiwick in Hlubčice. The pseudo-Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the village centre was built in 1863 at the initiative of Count Teodor Falkenheim. North-east of the village lies the flooded Skála quarry, where gravel was extracted industrially from 1925 onwards.
